Excellent design, material and price!!!
You know when you're upstate with a big group and a board game sounds stressful and a puzzle sounds like too much effort? You just need a sort of mindless, easy way to pass the time? This is it. Pro tip: it gets more fun & even trickier with each additional glass of wine consumed.
Holly Jolley is a freelance illustrator, designer, and self-proclaimed crazy cat lady based in Chile. She spends her days painting, reading, going on walks, and hanging around with her beloved cat, Hamlet. After putting on a fresh pot of tea she gets to work in her home studio. Surrounded by her collection of books, glittery shoes, and flea market treasures, Jolley paints soft and quirky portraits generally inspired by her imagination full of poems, charming animals wearing boots, and pink-coated ladies. Some of her clients include Flow Magazine, Frankie Magazine, Penguin Books, Anthropologie, and CAT.
"Friendly Felines is another way of trying to materialize my adoration for cats and all of their subtle, profound, and, at times, silly ways. Heavily inspired by my own cat Hamlet, a majestic blue grayish beast, always sleeping, stretching, or staring at me, probably judging my outfit and poor life choices (he does that a lot). I’m quite sure he could swap me for some retired billionaire in the French Alps if he wanted to, but he keeps choosing me every day, as he curls up next to me, while I binge-read the morning news. Apart from my biggest companion and confidant, he's become the subject of most of my illustrations and probably the closest thing that I have to a muse, channeling in perfect ways my life of soft white mornings, half-read books, and endless teapots." — Holly Jolley
“We are the cats inside. We are the cats who cannot walk alone, and for us there is only one place.” -William S. Burroughs
