Meet Joanna Rosado, the incredible artist behind our Disco Tea puzzle from the latest collection. Her use of color, pattern, and whimsy drew us in immediately, and we wish we could spend every day drinking tea amidst disco balls. We caught up with her and chatted about what puts her in the mood to create, what she’s been listening to, and who’s joining her ideal dinner party.
What’s one thing we should know about you?
I love knitting. My first cardigan I knitted at the age of 14!
What puts you in the mood to create?
Music, sunshine, coffee.
What’s your favorite rule or rule to break?
I break the rule of hiding my-true-self from others. I try not to pretend and not to wear masks.
If you had to live in another place it would be…
A tropical island :)
A current cultural obsession?
Books, especially biographies.
Ideal dinner venue or menu?
Recently I love everything Mexican. So it would be a cosy dinner place with traditional Mexican decor and Mexican menu.
