As design and architecture become more utilitarian, ornamental spaces like this force us to pause and reflect on the power of colour and design to imbue a place with mood and meaning. This type of environment gives us permission to stop, breathe, and just be, versus constantly being productive and on-the-go. I drew this wondrous setting with the intent to place myself there in my mind. I hope it will have the same inspiring and soothing effect on you!
