Returns Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with shrink wrap intact. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
  • Puzzles or games that has been opened 
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery  

EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by submitting a withdrawal request through our store before the 14-day withdrawal period has expired. We will send you an acknowledgment of your withdrawal request by email without delay.

Upon withdrawal, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your returned items, or from the day you provide proof of return shipment, whichever is earlier. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

You must return the items to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you notify us of your withdrawal. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for any loss in value of the goods if that loss is the result of handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Please note: our puzzles are sold with shrink wrap intact. If the shrink wrap has been removed, the item is considered to have diminished resale value and we reserve the right to deduct an appropriate amount from your reimbursement to reflect that loss in value.


REFUNDS

To return your product, please email us at hello@ordinaryhabit.com and we will provide you with information about where to ship it. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. We suggest making sure the item is packaged in the original shipping box with padding to ensure safe delivery to us. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
 
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If the return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@ordinaryhabit.com.

SALE ITEMS 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES 

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email us at hello@ordinaryhabit.com and we will provide you with information about where to ship it.

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
