Patti Blau is an illustrator based in Miami. She is known for her whimsical and colorful illustrations. Originally from New York, Patti moved to a more tropical climate where she is inspired by the light, color and nature. Previously working as a Costume Designer and Art Director in film production, the same themes of fashion, objects, and interiors are often present in her work. Her drawings are often influenced by her love of vintage. Patti’s artwork can be seen in editorial publications both online and in print.

I have always loved objects and interiors, studying the spaces we inhabit, and the way we decorate them. My drawings illustrate that passion. I like to create environments and fill them with furniture and objects. Our personal choices are described as “taste,” which is defined as “a person's liking for particular flavors,” and my artwork seeks to explore those infinite combinations.
